Living Land Acknowledgement

Nera Lerner is a first-generation immigrant from Kyiv, Ukraine, residing in Lenapehoking (Lënapehòkink). Nera recognizes the significant impact she and her fellow settlers have on the unceded lands and ancestral territory of the Lenni-Lenape People, along with the Canarsie and Munsee Nations. She acknowledges the historical injustice of colonization on these lands and their inhabitants and is dedicated to fostering reconciliation. Nera advocates for the safeguarding of these territories and offers her social platform and work to further education as a sign of respect to all past, present, and future relations.
